MTV held their Teen choice awards this weekend at the Gibson Amphitheater at Universal City, CA. Over the course of the last two months, teens logged on to FOX.com to cast approximately 8.5 million votes in support of their favorite celebrities in film, television, music, sports and fashion.
But more importantly what were they wearing?

We saw a strong trend towards tube top and sweet heart dresses with just above the knee skirts with the belles of the event being Vanessa Hudgens, Sophie Bush, Lauren Conrad and Jessica Alba.Vanessa picked up three surfboards, one for choice music breakout artist and two for high school musical 2’s record breaking debut and best TV Movie! She looked fabulous in her maxi tube dress from “Thread Social”. While one tree hill star, Sophie Bush opted to put a nautical spin on her fitted pencil line tube dress. She received a surfboard for “John Tucker Must Die”. Reality Fashionista, Lauren Conrad went for the ever popular sweet heart neckline in dark blue with a gold waist belt and slightly puffball skirt, the dress is from her own collection that is being backed by MTV. Conrad is best known for her role in the MTV reality series " Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County" and spin off series "The Hills". Jessica Alba glowed in a yellow tube dress with white wedge sandals and high waist belt. The look was summer fun with bright colors’  and tans with glossed up make up looks.
