When it comes to white lies, there are always a few that are tolerated—especially in the beauty world. Fib for fib though, the biggest untruths are undoubtedly made about hair, as most people fake color (highlights!), length (extensions!), or texture (blowouts!). Unfortunately, all this effort usually results in dry, distressed, dull hair that’s a far cry from the lustrous tresses found on Victoria’s Secret models (like Izabel Goulart, above). Fret not, dear readers, because it’s possible to restore those parched, fried tresses atop your head to (nearly) virgin-hair quality. Really!

We’ve gathered an array of the best products and tips from two experts on how to make your hair look like it’s never been chemically (or otherwise) damaged. If you want the silky sheen and smoothness of “untouched hair,” read on for more information...

Have you ever noticed how many British celebs have a (seemingly) realistic attitude about what they wear? Lily Allen wore the same dress—gasp!—twice last week, Sienna Miller carries her “it” bags after the season’s over, and Kate Moss showed up at the Met Gala in her own Topshop designs. All of this brings us to another down-to-earth dresser, today’s Style Stalker, Keira Knightly. We find it refreshing that in the current costume-change culture, she’s loyal to a few favorite accessories: a pale fedora, stone-embellished sandals, and a summery leather tote. Keep reading for all the details on where you can gank her garb.

Trends come and go—cowboy boots, we miss you not at all—but we’ve noted that celebs are dedicated to wearing waistcoats. One might even say that they have a (forgive us) vested interest in this piece of apparel. The vest, as we Americans call it, has long been a part of the fashion scene, traditionally as an addendum to uniforms and suits. In recent years it has enjoyed the spotlight as a solo item, ever since Kate Moss was snapped in one while attending Glastonbury 2005. While Moss wore the vest (buttoned-up, with nothing underneath, quite sexy) with super short shorts and a pair of wellies, you can really throw one on with almost anything—as the above ladies show.

You gotta love Camilla Belle. While most of her young Hollywood peers are swapping beaus, hair colors, and insults at warp speed, Belle is refreshingly pulled together. Plus, with her raven hair, creamy skin, and bold brows, she has a young Liz Taylor sort of beauty. This radiance was on full display recently when she attended a presentation of Chanel’s Cruise collection in Santa Monica. Belle’s fashion-forward eyeliner (a big fall trend) and dewy skin were simply flawless. We rang up Lisa Storey—the makeup artist responsible for this perfection—to find out all the details on this divine look.
