Favorite place to shop and why? Abroad!! I don’t have a favourite shop; I love to combine different labels, designer and high street. When you go abroad its nice to get something different to what you see in all the shops at home.”
Favorite designer and why? Hmm…Probably Antonio Berardi…sexy but very sophisticated
What is set to be the hottest trend for fall and why? ‘Punk New Rave’ … apparently!! But I think wearing one bold block colour, such as fuchsia or burnt orange will be hot, because this trend allows the wearer to be fashionable but still find a colour that suits them. I hate it when people wear things because it is ‘in fashion’ but it really doesn’t suit them!
If you could choose a celebrity to be your muse who would it be? Eva Mendes; she is naturally beautiful and very sexy. She would look good in so many different styles.
What item should every girl have in her wardrobe and why? A good quality pair of very high heeled, black stilettos…why? Because they suit everyone, whatever figure shape or height you are, the high heel improves the look of your legs and they can be worn with a wide variety of outfits.
If you had to describe yourself in one word what would it be? Energetic
Worse trend to emerge in the last year: The maxi dress!
Why? Because I’m too short to make it look good…however hard I keep trying!
Who is your style icon and why? I don’t have one, I can love what someone wears one day and hate what they wear another… although Victoria Beckham usually gets it right all the time.

The Collection:
FMD: Describe your collection colours, cuts and fabrics
Colours: Muted tones of blush, blue-greys, pinstriped mushroom and delicate creams.
Cuts : soft and oversized
Fabrics: combination of fine jersey, ribbing, chunkier knits, and soft woven in cotton, silk and wool.
FMD: Outline the theme of your collection: Childhood memories of dressing up in parents clothes. Key ideas; Over sizing and eclectic feel.
FMD: What was the inspiration for your collection? A 3 year old little girl called Macy, with bleach blonde curly hair and big blue eyes.
FMD: Which garment is your favourite and why? My waistcoat: I love the combination of the layered fabrics over the hip and the way they move when you walk. I also like the slouching back because I think the back is one of the sexiest parts of the body.
FMD: What inspires you as a designer? Everything….seriously!
FMD: If you had to describe your collection in one word, what would it be? One word? ..that’s quite hard… hmm… Innocence
